Welcome to Al-Anon Beaufort County AIS, the local Information Service (also known as Intergroup) serving the Al-Anon fellowship within Beaufort County, South Carolina, the southern-most county in District 6. Al-Anon Beaufort County was formed due to the vastness of the District, allowing the local members to Beaufort County to concentrate our efforts within “our own backyard”. While we are an autonomous entity from District 6, we keep them in the loop with what is going on here so that they know that Beaufort County’s needs are being met. This allows them to focus on the other 4 counties in the District that don’t have their own AIS/Intergroup. Our services cover Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head Island and Okatie. We are referred to as ABC, Al-Anon Beaufort County, ABC AIS, ABC Intergroup, Beaufort County AIS, Al-Anon Beaufort County AIS, ABC Info Group – all of these are synonymous.
